More About Coach Cory

I have worked with kids from 10 years of age to adults. My goal was to make athletes perform at the highest level. I worked with them on becoming more athletic and teaching them the fundamentals of the game, while keeping the workouts exciting and fresh.

I played college basketball at Spoon River college in Canton Illinois. I also played college ball at St. Petersburg College in Florida. I then got the opportunity to go play for the Perry Lake Hawks WABL in Perth Australia. I averaged 18 points a game and 9 assists at the point guard position playing overseas.

I work on balance and footwork to increase players' athletic ability. I will work on shooting drills and resistance training. My goal is to improve the athletes' all around game.

My son enjoyed the training with Coach Cory and we decided to get additional sessions. Very happy.

Coach Cory was excellent with my teenage daughter. He was prompt, asked us what skills we wanted to work on, and then why we thought we needed to work on these skills. My daughter has always been a wing, but for her high school team, due to injuries, she’s been forced to play center. Her post skills were our primary concern, and Coach Cory taught her some moves, and then practiced these moves with her for our session. I highly recommend Coach Cory.

Coach Cory was excellent. Very positive, lots of enthusiasm. Kept things moving and fresh....!

Cory has been an excellent coach for my son to work with. My son looks forward to his training sessions & is excited about the improvement & progress he is making with Coach Cory's coaching. Coach Cory provides positive feedback & keeps the training sessions fun, positive & focused to get the most of the time. We couldn't be more pleased with choosing him as a Coach!!

We booked a coach through CoachUp and something came up at the last minute forcing us to look for another coach. Coach Cory stepped up to the plate and was able to schedule a training session that day. His flexibility and willingness to adjust to our last minute request was impressive. He was a great first time coach - worked my son at a fast pace using various drills, shooting techniques, and more. My son commented that he learned a lot and would work with Coach Cory again.
