More About Coach Conor

I have trained a broad range of clients ranging from young athletes to middle age weekend warriors to professional athletes to active senior citizens. I am a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association, I have a bachelors of science degree in Kinesiology from the University of Maryland, a Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Maryland.

My experiences as a personal trainer and a physical therapist make me an excellent one on one trainer, to help any client reach their individual needs. I am outstanding at tailoring individual fitness programs to clients specific fitness and health desires.

I have played sports in some way throughout my entire life. As a child and adolescent I played soccer and lacrosse at a high level and continued to play soccer into junior college. After several injuries and realizing a sports career was not in my future, my goals changed to finding ways to utilizing sports and activity to improve individuals lives, which is what lead me to become a physical therapist and personal trainer.

A client can expect an individualized safe and challenging fitness/workout programmed tailored to their specific fitness, health and athletic goals. Our first session will focus on discussing what the client is hoping to get out of these sessions, and examining the clients overall fitness/athletic abilities. From this discussion and evaluation we can determine what is the best way to reach our goals. My experiences and education in kinesiology, anatomy, exercise physiology, program design and physical therapy help me create effective and efficient training sessions for clients.

Conor is great! On the first session, he carefully listened to my present and previous athletic and fitness concerns. Like a good physical therapist, he thoroughly assessed my muscular strength and endurance and took notes. Like a great trainer, I was amazed that he then was able to put an efficient and challenging next training session and was able to correct my form on some of the exercises. He brought some equipment with him to the training site and blended using fitness bands, free weights, kettlebells, and other equipment. He followed up on how I was feeling the next day and then provided a list of exercises for between sessions to continue gaining on my fitness goals. I’m confident that with further sessions and guidance I will meet my athletic and fitness goals. I look forward to working with him in the future sessions. I definitely would recommend him to my family and friends.
