More About Coach Ciaira

I have been around sports my entire life and basketball is something I'm extremely passionate about. I have trained athletes from ages 5-18. I have mainly worked with high school athletes but I'm willing to work with young athletes to help build that foundation. I have coached girls of 5 and 6 year olds and have coached varsity girls. I have done private lessons over the summers working with HS girls. I have worked plenty of camps, some with NBA players such as Danny Green and George Hill. I have worked with NBA skill trainers like Tim Springer, Tyler Relph and Ganon Baker.

I was a 4 year starting point guard on varsity. I lettered in basketball, soccer (1), softball (4) , and track (4). I earned all district MVP, 1st team all district, 2nd team all-valley. I have collegiate experience of basketball at Our lady of the Lake Univerisity and St. Mary's University along with softball experience as well. I graduated in May, 2017.

A client can expect to get pushed to their fullest potential with me. They can expect to work on not only their weaknesses but their strengths as well. You can't just focus on your weaknesses and forget about your strengths, those are important too. I focus a lot on core, stability, endurance and mental toughness. I will always start off a workout with a jump rope, core, and ball handling. Then I'd incorporate game-like moves, shots on and off the dribble, and finishes at the rim. Throughout the workout we will work on free throws. I'll always end with conditioning with a ball. Depending on what the client wants to target, I will do my best to create a workout that will specifically target that. I plan on getting my clients game and skill set better along with their work ethic. I like to try new things and make my workouts different every time, but I won't move on if I don't feel like you have mastered a specific skill set or don't quite understand it.
