More About Coach Christopher

Hey There!

I’m Coach Chris and I offer a high energy, engaging, fun & encouraging approach to coaching all while building a relationship of trust/respect from every single player and their families. I inherited the soccer bug from my dad, who was the starting GK for Georgetown University Men’s Soccer from 1968-1971 and had playing as soon as I could walk. I was blessed to have my dad as my formal coach for ~17 years (now he’s behind the scenes) and I have experience playing & coaching every role on the field. My lengthy career included an handful of major and potentially career-ending-injuries, so I can sympathize with the fears & frustrations a player faces in those scenarios. But, with the relentless support of my parents, lots of hard work and a strong network of coaches/trainers, I was able to endure and play at an Elite Level and ended up winning multiple championships with my ODP & BayState Games teams before graduating high school. I then went to boarding school for a PG year, which was a personal decision to help me mature and get stronger after snapping my leg in half in a state tournament game that put me in a full leg cast and wheelchair for 6 months just the year before. There, I was elected Captain as a walk on and won a handful of accolades before finishing my career in college where we went to the NCAA tournament every year including a Final 4, an Elite 8 and two Sweet 16 finishes.

Regardless of your child’s age, experience, goals or any other nuance that comes with being a member of your family - I’m confident we can build a plan together.

Please let me know if you have any questions!

Chris

At most age groups, too much time is wasted by disengaged coaches who follow a cookie-cutter approach to their team. With me, you can expect a customized player-based technical focus, followed by an ever changing framework for conditioning. And we’ll address every role on the field via mindset and empathy discussions with video engagement, all built to help develop an advanced approach to teamwork.

Client Reviews

Hi there! I wanted to let you know that (redacted) had such a great season! On behalf of the parents, we wanted to thank you and we couldn’t believe how much the girls grew this year! We hope to have you as a coach for (redacted) and the girls for the coming years!!
Chris worked with our boys for a few years. He’s kind, considerate and fun to be around - all while being able to draw the best out of his players. After a brief consultation, he was able to tailor his coaching plans to both boys, which included a range of ability and needs. His reputation in town is top notch and parents/coaches alike want to work with him. If you want to see dramatic progress, talk to Chris. You won’t be disappointed!
Chris exceeded all of our expectations for a multi-week engagement as we work to make the varsity soccer team. He’s easy to work with, pushes players when necessary, acknowledges the emotional state of his players and our daughter grew exponentially during their time together.
