More About Coach Chris

Entering my 9th year as a Track & Field Coach in CT. Coached football for 3 years and have trained football players for 10+ years focused on improving speed, agility, and playing power. Have coached youth and high school football as well as trained track, football, field hockey, baseball, and hockey players from middle school to D1 college. Typically work with athletes Ages 10+.

Division 1 Track and Field Hammer and Discus thrower, voted team captain senior year. Played football for 11 years, Varsity starter for 3 years in Northern Vt. Nominee for VT football Hall of Fame, 2008. Was only athlete that year to earn a medal at VT Track State Championship in a throwing (shot put, discus) and sprinting event (4*200m relay).

Depending on what your focus is, each session will be tailored for your goals. Whether it be speed, strength, agility, or cardio your session will be designed specifically to you with objective data guiding pace, sets, reps, and so on. Every practice starts with a warmup and mobility that can change due to soreness, injury, or previous days workout. After warm ups athlete and coach (parent Is encouraged too!) will meet to go over the daily goal, plan, and WHY. I am very big on educating athletes to why we are doing things (teach a person to fish). This way athletes can grow physically and mentally as competitors.
