More About Coach Chris

Entering my 9th year as a Track coach in CT. I have been coaching since I was a senior in high school and have coached Track, Football, Baseball, and Olympic Lifting. Coaching ages 8 through 21+, beginners to National Qualifiers and numerous D1 + 2 athletes. I started coaching youth track and football in South Burlington, VT and have also coached track in Shelton, Hartford, New Britain, and Enfield, CT.

Division 1 Track and Field thrower (Discus, Hammer), voted team Captain senior year. Four year track athlete in high school, qualifying for New England’s, Nationals, and competed in the Junior Olympics in discus and shot put. Medaled top 3 at Vermont State Championships in 4x200m relay, shot put, and discus. Four year varsity football linemen/linebacker and three year starter, winning two state championships and appearing in four. VT Football Hall of Fame nominee 2008.

Depending on what your focus is, each session will be tailored for your goals. Whether it be speed, strength, agility, or cardio your session will be designed specifically to you with objective data guiding pace, sets, reps, and so on. Every practice starts with a warmup and mobility that can change due to soreness, injury, or previous days workout. After warm ups athlete and coach (parent Is encouraged too!) will meet to go over the daily goal, plan, and WHY. I am very big on educating athletes to why we are doing things (teach a person to fish) do athletes can grow physically and mentally as competitors.
