More About Coach Chris

I have coached kids of all ages and different levels. I coached summer ball teams full of 8th graders who were trying out for their high school teams. I also ran camps of younger kids (9-12 yrs old) and was a coach for camps at Regis University, for high school seniors and juniors.
Personally, I played 4-years of varsity high school baseball in Phoenix, Arizona. I attended Arizona State University, and transferred to Central Arizona Junior College and finally from there I attended Regis University in Denver, Colorado. I also am in the process of getting my Strength training certifications making me able to also train athletes for power and explosiveness.

In high school, I was a 2nd team all-state as a junior and honorable mention in my senior year. At Central Arizona, I led the league in runners caught stealing as a freshman and was tied with a teammate in my sophomore year. I was invited to play in the Sophomore junior college all-star game. During my Junior and Senior year, I was an academic honorable mention player. My career has taken me all over the country and participated at all levels. I was at a Division-1, Division-2, and Junior College level.

Each session with me will be fairly simple. I will focus on one or two areas during each session that will need improvement. Regardless of offense or defense, I will spend the first half of the session overexaggerating what is being practiced and the second half of the session will be spent letting them work on their newly acquired skills. The last bit of time can be used for questions or any form of clarity that is needed.
