More About Coach Carson
My first experience in coaching began in high school when I volunteered at a program called TOPS soccer. The program pairs special needs athletes with young adults who teach them how to kick and dribble a ball. This was an emotional introduction to both coaching and mentoring, and it gave me one of my motivations for wanting to coach, which is to have a positive impact on others.
I played club soccer through college, but an injury kept me sidelined part of my Junior year, which led me to rediscovering coaching. I volunteered to help run practices for a local youth club where I taught technique, came up with drills, and organized scrimmages for kids of various ages.
I have always loved training - probably even more than games - and my goal is always to make it as fun as it is productive.

Sessions will typically focus on improving a player's overall game: ball mastery, physicality, game knowledge, and confidence. This would consist of a quick warmup and assessment, followed by isolated drills that evolve into game like situations.
However, this is your session and I am flexible in my approach. If there are 1 or 2 specific areas of your game you'd like to work on for an entire session, I'll tailor each session to your preference.
