More About Coach Britton
As an educator and coach, I have experience and knowledge in teaching and reaching athletes from elementary through college age, beginners to Pros. Workouts are adjusted according to skill level. Through hardwork and dedication to the program, you can continue to progress your skills to higher levels. I have worked camps at the University of Dayton, University of Cincinnati, Ohio University, and Xavier University. I am a former manger for the Ohio University Men's Basketball Team under then head coach John Groce. I most recently was staffed with the Wade O'Connor Elite Basketball Academy in Dayton, Ohio, where I worked with and trained athletes from 2nd grade up through professionals. I have my Ohio Teaching License and am certified to teach K-12 Physical Education.
I competed in high level athletics up through High School including: Basketball (Wilmington High School and AAU), Baseball, Cross Country and Tennis. I continued to act as a practice player for the Ohio University Men's Basketball Team while I was a Manager there from 08-11.
Athletes will endure numerous repetitions in areas such as shooting, ball handling, moving without the ball, and defensive positioning. Repetitions are key, as it can take 90-180 days or 10,000-20,000 repetitions to change a habit. We push our athletes to perform at game speed throughout the duration of the workout. We are constantly aiming to maximize time and performance together, so that the athlete gets the absolute most out of each session. In the end, we play basketball because it’s fun. Enjoying our time on the basketball court is of the upmost importance!
We also focus on the following core values:
• Accountability
• Selflessness
• Leadership
• Respect
• Truthfulness

Client Reviews
Laura (CoachUp client)
Britton you did a great job helping my middle-schooler make significant improvements to his game. My son had always been a part of a team and has attended basketball camps, but this is the first one-on-one instruction he has had and it was outstanding. One thing that sets Britton apart is that he is a professional educator as well as a coach. He uses his educational training as well as his coaching talents to bring students to the next level. My son thoroughly enjoyed his session with Britton and I can see the change in his game already.
