More About Coach Bill

USGTF Certified professional golf instructor. I specialize in intermediate and senior golfers. I use the most advanced video and high definition simulators. I do not give half hour fix lessons they DON'T work. I do believe that to fix a specific problem you need to find the root cause. I have found that building a reliable repeatable swing must incorporate all the proven basic skills, grip, posture, alignment and most of all tempo. Don't come too me to fix your slice come too me to fix your game.

I started golf late in life, but rather than going out there in developing bad habits, I started taking lessons right off the go. The first year I broke 100 the second year I broke 90 in the third year I broke 80. I was fascinated by the game I was hooked. I read every magazine watched every video friends came to me with their problems. I found out early you can't fix one golf problem you must fix the golfer. I decided to travel to the USGTF in Port St Lucy FLA and become an instructor. My awards are rewards coming from the students I coach.

First I give my students a free half hour evaluation on a HD simulator. I document the following: grip, stance, club position, alignment, attack position, The simulator shows me the path, club head open close % club speed. I then offer the students a single lesson at $80.00 three lesson package $220.00 and a five lesson package at $350.00 packages include the $35.00 simulator fee I am very honest with students. I tell them from the beginning "l'm not a teacher I'm your Coach every pro has one you should too. It's hard work and I'm very demanding. My reputation is on the line."

Brian Labau Dear Bill, I would like to let you know that from your guidance , golf has become an enjoyable game. Looking forward too getting down there and working with you again.
Jeff Cohen I’m a member of a country Club with a rather tough course. Best I could do high 90s. Bill being friend would give me some tips. Not necessarily swing tips but “ you’re coming up short why not take an extra club. If you start to fly the green then drop back” it worked. I came up pin high. In the trap, in the woods, in the water. But I got pin high. Bill never wanted to push lessons but I knew I need them. We made a few swing changes and a complete grip change. Late that season I broke 90. There was still some time before bad weather set in so he suggested he caddy for me (in a cart he’s 75 he shoots his age). Course Managment, you wouldn’t believe how much it helped. Example: par five 543yds I hit my driver 238yds I pulled my 3 wood, he stopped me. He asked “When was the last time you hit this green” I said never. He ask “when was the last time you hit it in the fescue” I said. (sadly) a lot. Subtract 238 from 543 you get 305 Take out your 19deg hybrid 185yds had 120 left hit a not so great wedge but was still on the green 2 put par. Summery this year I’m in the low 80s broke 80 once. I love that guy.
