More About Coach Angela

Special skills coach with experience coaching athletes of all skill levels. Elite level sports requires elite level training. I encourage players to fight harder and find their next level by focusing on the specificity of the skill and attention to the smallest of details. The smallest of details is the difference between scoring a goal or losing possession of the ball. It is also what separates the average players/teams from the great players/teams.

Fundamentals are the core of a training session. The first touch is absolutely the most important skill for every position. At any level, players who get the most playing time are the ones with an amazing first touch. During tryouts or scouting, the first touch is what the coach/scout will be evaluating. A strong foundation with an amazing first touch and ability to interchangeably use both feet affords the athlete the best opportunity to reach their highest potential. A one-dimensional player with an average first touch will not succeed in reaching higher levels of this sport.

Training Sessions also include:
Maximum touches on the ball, at game speed, using both feet for all skills Exploding change of direction speed to create space
Deceptive change of direction
Dribbling for speed and with purpose
Ball security
Shot selection
Decision making
Fitness requirements

Client Reviews

My daughter had a great experience training with Angela! She is positive and firm which keeps the practice at a productive training level! She works great with young kids!

Coach Angela is awesome. Our 1st session was great. My daughter left with so much motivation. I'm so glad i picked her as her coach.

Angela establishes rapport quickly. She easily transitions the student from drill to drill working on many skills. She has a great pace and speed in her sessions getting the most out of the student and the session. She is very supportive and positive.

Coach Angela is incredible! Flexible and professional, she is a pleasure to communicate with. She demonstrates great technical and coaching skills, helping our athlete focus and realize results even in just a few sessions. So happy with this CoachUp match!

Fantastic first lesson! Looking forward to more.

Coach Angie is a very serious coach. There is no answering " I don't know." She really teaches me to understand the game and the purpose for all the skills we work on. She forces me to practice at game speed and to not worry about errors. She has lots of energy and expects I have the same. She gives homework to do in between sessions and always notices if I have not practice what she told me to practice.

Angela pushes me really hard. She is always motivating me to stay positive and will keep working with me until I get it right. My confidence has gotten so much better and I am no longer afraid to use my left foot. I used to always run around to get everything on my right foot.

Been training with coach Angela for awhile now and all I can say is I’m waay better than what I used to be.

Angela really goes out of her way to make sure my daughter is always having fun and enjoying learning the game. My daughter can be a knuckle-head sometimes, however, she has definitely bonded with her coach which has made all the difference in her confidence, attitude, and enjoyment of the game.

Angie helped me confident and strong enough to tryout for my High School Team. She helped me to trust my training and wrote out a fitness plan that got me very prepared for matches.
