As a coach, I love teaching! I like to focus on the core 4 principals of peak performance: Physical, Technical, Tactical, and Mental.
I also try a give the players I work with an understanding of how they learn best within the game of Lacrosse, and give them a better understanding of their own strengths and weaknesses.
While much of my work focuses on individual sessions, I also like doing small group work (usually 3-4 kids) to have a more complete understanding of playing dynamics.
Video/Film is an invaluable resource and one of the best teaching platforms around; I frequently use iPads, GoPros, etc. to help kids better see their improvement.

Client Reviews

My name is Sally Clark and I am a rising senior on the George Mason University women’s lacrosse team. I am writing this letter on behalf on Adam Norton, an incredible coach that needs to be part of your program. Coach Adam understands the ins and outs of the game, effectively communicates and teaches his players, and most importantly, makes the competitive game of division one lacrosse FUN! Although I only had Adam as a coach for short year and a half, he has been, and continues to be, the most inspirational coach and mentor. When Adam came to Mason my sophomore year, he completely changed the dynamic and attitude of the team. He restored faith that our program can and will succeed one day. Coming from the goalie position, Adam knows how to coach an attack to fake the defense and get the ball in the back of the net, and how to help a defense make big stops and saves. For those reasons, he is an extremely versatile coach to help every single player on the team. Personally, Adam has helped me grow and develop as a player tremendously over the past year and a half. He knows our strengths and weaknesses, and caters his coaching techniques to work for each individual. He knows his players so well that he does not have to ask us if we are having a bad day, yet asks all the right questions to help understand and problem solve; whether it is life or lacrosse. As someone who considered transferring after freshman year, and then decided to stay when Adam came sophomore year, I am forever grateful for having the opportunity to have played for him. I am an extremely insecure player, and Adam always knew how to coach me in a way that I could thrive and respond positively to. Any program that adds Adam Norton to their staff is making an extremely smart decision for the future of their team. Any women’s lacrosse team would be blessed to have Adam Norton as a part of their family. Thank you, Sally Clark
