More About Coach Adam

I have experience playing and coaching collegiate basketball at Fresno pacific university (NCAA Division 2) I have also played basketball professionally in Europe and coached youth basketball in Europe.

In high school I was an all conference, and all state honorable mention at St. Paul central high school.
In junior college at Vermilin community college I was all-conference, all-state, all region, and pre season 2nd team all American.
At Fresno pacific university I won a GSAC conference championship in 2008-09 and reached the national tournament. Career record at Fresno pacific 46-19.
I went on to play professionally in Hanover, Germany for the Hanover Korbjรคger.

I like to focus on functional workouts. Emulating game situations and helping players learn how to better read the game of basketball.
I cater my workouts to the specific player. And as an exercise science major in college I always properly warm up the player before going full speed.
I begin my workouts with dribbling and dexterity drills to warm the hands up, then transition to getting up and down the floor.
After the body is lose I keep the player close to the basket usually with Mikan drills and lay up mechanics and footwork then mid range shots before shooting 3pointers.
Then I would focus on emulating game situations so the player is getting repetitions that translate into the real game. So I don't really use cones or other props in my workouts.
After an efficient workout I will provide the athlete with a cool down followed by stretching.

Coach Adam was very encouraging. (I saw some fist bumping) :) He customized the session to my daughters needs. This is exactly what we need to polish her skills and take her to the next level!

Awesome session. Strategic and super helpful.

Very pleased with Adam.Great coach!! In a short time he has really helped my son.

Coach Adam is great. I asked my grandson if he liked him and he said Ye, he's like me! That means alot, he needs a coach to look up to and that he sees that hard work and fun work, will get you to where you want to be in life.
