More About Coach Greg
Over 30 years of coaching experience in the shot put and discus. I have coached 8 different individuals who have won at least 1 state title in the shot put or the discus at 4 different HS's. I have a teachable progression for the throws that works for all athletes at all schools.

Girls Discus:
Regional Champ 120' Freshman.
Regional Runner-up 113'5 Junior (improved 47 feet from soph year).
2023 Regional Qualifier
Boys Discus:
2021 State Champ 161'4.
2022 Regional Champ and 6th place at States...soph 147' 2" (1st year thower)
2023 Spring: State and Regional Qualifier
Boys Shotput:
2021-22 Indoor Regional Champ 48' 7"
(First season throwing)
Attended a clinic in July 2020 with the Swedish National throws coach. He coached the Gold, Silver and Bronze medalists in the discus for the 2020 Summer Olympics.
I threw the discus and shotput years ago in HS. Played College football in New Mexico. Since that was over 40 years ago, it really has no bearing on my ability to get results at this point.
If you are serious about learning the finer points of throwing and you are ready to start winning... book a session.
After assessing the problem(s), I will design a series of drills and throw sessions to fix the issue(s). Sessions are 1 hour long, 3 times a week in order to maximize results.
